Infinity has been proud of its long-standing relationship, exclusive in Asia, with Tilney, our strategic investment partner since 2012. Tilney brought the experience and expertise to effectively manage our clients’ portfolios. With £55.8bn of assets under management, a 186-year heritage and 172,000 clients supported, their track record spoke for itself.
Nevertheless, you’ll see the Tilney name disappearing from our website over the next few weeks. It will be replaced by Evelyn Partners.
Don’t panic!
We’ve not taken leave of our senses; this is simply the culmination of a 2020 merger between financial powerhouses, Tilney and Smith & Williamson. Over the last two years, these two exceptional businesses, who have helped generations of people and businesses thrive, have been integrated into a single company which is unrivalled in the market. In June 2022, the company announced that it would change its name to Evelyn Partners.
The new name reflects the company’s rich heritage and is inspired by the London address – Evelyn Gardens – from which one of the company’s founders pioneered the expansion of the business back in 1893.
Evelyn Partners will continue to provide the expert investment management services that Infinity clients have come to expect. The name of your portfolio or investment fund will have changed from Tilney or Smith and Williamson to Evelyn Partners but you’ll continue to benefit from the same high standards that you’d expect from a best-in-class investment management service. No action is required on your part.
